Sheila attended Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2008, she successfully completed the Certified Assisted Living Director (CALD) program. CALD aims to "raise the bar" by offering administrators and directors a combination of a national certification along with Michigan's most comprehensive state specific training.
Elected in 2008, Sheila is a board member of The Michigan Center for Assisted Living (MCAL). MCAL is a division of the Health Care Association of Michigan, specializing in the needs of Michigan's elderly consumers for over 50 years. MCAL is an excellent resource for consumer education and information.

Michael Hughes is an honors graduate of Kettering College of Medical Arts and is a Certified Physician Assistant who has worked in Family Practice, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Prostate Cancer Treatment. He is also an honors graduate of Washtenaw Community College, in Ann Arbor, Michigan and has a degree in Respiratory Therapy and Applied Science. He was a Program Director and taught Respiratory Therapy at Durham Technical Institute in Durham, North Carolina.

Kathryn Archer, RN, Director of Nursing

Kathryn Archer, the Director of Nursing, is a 1990 Graduate of Michigan State University College of Nursing. She worked in oncology at E.W. Sparrow Hospital for seven years before joining Timber Ridge in June, 2000. Kathryn has an experienced and balanced perspective of our mission and the services we provide. She works closely with physicians and our staff to ensure the quality of care our residents deserve.
Andrew M. Hughes, Assistant Administrator

Andrew M. Hughes has a B.A. Degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University and an Associate Degree in General Education with a Certificate of Gerontology from Lansing Community College. Andrew has worked at Timber Ridge for ten years. He uses his great sense of responsibility and commitment when tackling any problem set before him and he works tirelessly until any job is completed. From using his computer or his toolbox to lending a calming hand, Andrew is always there to help someone.
